With an upside layout including one ground floor double bedroom and a ground floor bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to two adults. There's also a first floor open plan living area, taking advantage of the beautiful views, which incorporates a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars plus an enclosed gravelled patio garden with furniture and BBQ. Primrose sits within walking distance of The Royal Forest of Dean and enjoys a super position for a delightful Gloucestershire getaway. Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

The thriving village of Newnham-on-Severn nestles on the banks of the River Severn. The village is steeped in history, and offers specialist shops to suit all interests, along with traditional pubs, cafes and a weekly country market selling local homemade and home grown produce. This charming village, part of which is designated Conservation Area, has a tree-lined main street, many listed buildings, a striking central clock tower and is ideally located for watching the spectacular Severn Bore. A wonderful base for your Gloucestershire getaway.

"Really great little cottage in a fantastic setting. The cottage is set back from the main road which makes it very quiet. There is parking available specifically for the cottage which was very useful. The cottage itself is very well set out with bathroom and bedroom downstairs and lounge and kitchen area upstairs. All rooms are very well equipped and we could always find everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!"
