Reviews
"This is honestly one of the best places I have ever stayed in... and there have been many. We did a road trip at the end of 2016 and booked this house for New Years with a couple of days before and after - and we couldn't have chosen better. Although we struggled to find it at first (it was pitch black and raining) we eventually got there with the help of the owner of the Post Office/Shop just down the road. The house is perfect! Plenty of space, and each room has an en suite, spacious kitchen, great space outside and a cosy lounge with a fire place - they even got us some things to the light the first fire or 2! We took New Years day to warm up in front of the fire after the NY swim and cook a meal. There were 9 of us and there was plenty space for everyone! The little town of Ballyferriter is very near so we did a little pub crawl with the 4 pubs that are on the main road there - they all have a great atmosphere with traditional music and a good few pints. Even better coming home on the clear night and seeing all the stars in the sky - bright as day - this place is pretty spectacular. Its a short drive into Dingle but close enough and the owner is always available - we had a little issue with the hot water but it was sorted straight away. I would recommend this place to anyone and Im sure we will definitely be booking it on our next road trip! One for the books!"
"We stayed at the Architect House at the end of June/early July 2015. The house was just as it was pictured on the site. I was traveling with my family and my parents (6 people total). There was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed that it was located outside the busy Dingle area, yet still very convenient to the area. We were staying in Ballyferriter since our ancestors lived there prior to coming to the US. We found everyone was very nice and helpful. They helped us find the location of the church that they attended (which happened to be walking distance from the Architect House). It would be helpful if the house had WiFi and an updated TV. However, it was clear in the listing that the house did not have WiFi. And besides, we were in Ireland to see the beautiful country, not to sit in front of a computer or TV."
"This is one of the best places to visit, not just in Ireland but on the planet. The house is spacious, tidy, quiet, frankly faultless. Am I going back soon? Yes"
