Reviews
"A lovely cottage just up the hill in Arthog with views over the Mawddach estuary and quite close to an access point to the Mawddach trail. There is also a shed for bike storage that is very useful."
"Wonderful cottage with all the facilities you could need. Great kitchen, excellent Wi-Fi, TV & a log burner (but we didn't need it!). The cottage is very clean & the beds comfortable. Views from the back are stunning. There are many walks in the surrounding area, which is also great for cycling. The owner is very welcoming & left us cakes, biscuits & milk for our arrival - a very nice touch."
"My husband and I, and another couple really enjoyed our stay, despite the weather being wet and windy at times. There was everything you needed for warmth and comfort. The woodburner was a boon for the evenings. Excellent wifi. The beds were comfy, with quality bedding, the kitchen with the aga well equipped. The views and general area was beautiful, with lovely walks along the Mawddach estuary, and the Cregennan Lakes not far."
"Upon a late arrival we were greeted with a tray of home made cakes from our lovely host Meena (lives next door). Our first impressions were the fantastic views out of every window but especially the back of the property. All bedrooms were of a large size, which was great for three teenagers! Talking of the teenagers ... We were still lugging suitcases in whilst they had already tapped into the free wifi for their variety of electronic gadgets that they can't seem to live without. We are only the 2nd family to stay in this delightful property, but we were impressed with how we were treated and made to feel at home. We ventured out most days to Barmouth to the seaside, which the kids & our 7mth old puppy loved! So many plus point to this rental, didn't even feel I was in a bungalow. Lovely little stream running through the garden too! garden furniture & BBQ is set up for you, although didn't use. You would definitely need a car for this property as pub is a drive away along with nearest towns. This is going to be a very popular rental and I'm glad we stayed here in the beginning!"
