"The description was spot on and we were not disappointed! The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and we loved the scones/jam and clotted cream that they left for us! The apartment was spacious for the 5 of us, although it would be a bit tight for 7 (you would have to be 3 couples and a baby) We didn't get chance to use the Jacuzzi, but it looked impressive! The balcony was my favourite bit, as the views were fantastic, and it was large enough for the toddler to "explore" too. The hosts had thought of everything, so we even had sandwich bags to put butties in one day. Definitely hope we can return one day, as there's so much to do in the local area as well!"

"We stayed here in July and the apartment was a real piece of luxury. On pulling up in the car, we were a little anxious about our chosen accommodation. However on entering we were quite simply astounded. The views are stunning and the place is so spacious. On arrival the scones were a wonderful treat as to was the tea and coffee tray and milk in the fridge! We enjoyed spending time in Buxton, Bakewell, Gullivers Kingdom, Heights of Abraham, Matlock bath and Matlock Park as well as Crich. Would recommend the apartment and visiting the PEAK district"

"First class apartment which is, by far, the best we have ever stayed in. The flat was spotlessly clean, it was modern, lovely and light, beautiful balcony and views, walk in wardrobe, double Jacuzzi bath and easy parking just across the street It was amazing! Plenty of space - wonderful. Met the owners who were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Home-made scones on arrival with jam and cream! An abundance of towels which, we have found with most self catering places, you are charged extra for. Not here! Lovely area quiet and just perfect. Have already booked up for next year, just wish I could go again before then! Thank you."

"After the trip from Harwich to Matlock it was very welcoming to have fresh scones and milk for a proper cup of tea waiting in the apartment. We had a lovely time in Matlock, despite the weather. After a day of sightseeing or shopping returning to the apartment felt like home. The Jacuzzi bath was very relaxing and our daughter loved playing in the water. Masson View Apartment is on our to go to again list. We recommend this location to our friends and colleagues."

"We stayed first week in July 2017 and this was our second visit, having stayed 2 years ago. This apartment is superb and is equipped to a very high standard. Comfortable, excellent location, stunning views, and the jacuzzi bath is wonderful. Central location for touring the local area and there is plenty to do and see. A short walk into Matlock if you want to leave the car behind (although a steep hill on the walk back). The owners are lovely and on hand should you need anything. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough. Will definitely be visiting again."

"The apartment was great. It has a marvelous veranda with amazing views and sunsets. It has an enormous double Jacuzzi bath. Although it is only advertised as two bedrooms there is a library room with a double sofa bed and another single bed that pulls out. The apartment is comfortable for 4 adults although we had 3 adults and 3 children staying and it was fine. The appatment has everything you could wish for."

"This apartment is wonderful. It is very tastefully decorated and everything has been thought of, right down to a 'stitch in time' sewing kit! The reading room is an added bonus, and well stocked with books and DVDs. The jacuzzi bath is a welcoming sight after a day exploring the Peak District. Probably the best value, best decorated and most welcoming place we have ever stayed."

"My husband and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for a week from the august bank holiday weekend, we were joined, just for the weekend part, by my son and daughter-in-law. An ideal place for a family get together, with the beautiful views from the large verandah, and the amazing double jacuzzi bath (so big it takes 20mins to fill) it is hard to describe how nice this place is. There is even a 'reading room' with a huge bookcase filled with books, Cd's, and DVD's. There is space allotted for one car in the car park opposite, another car would need to use the restricted parking on the road, luckily we found this no problem as we had two cars only for the weekend, I'm not sure if weekdays would have been so easy. But altogether I would highly recommend this apartment."

"I would highly recommend this holiday apartment! Spacious, well equipped and the owners have thought of everything. The living/dining/kitchen area benefits from lots of windows which provide spectacular views to the hills opposite. The balcony provides peaceful outside space to relax in good weather. Two large double bedrooms, (one with en-suite shower room and dressing room), a reading room with a good selection of books, DVDs, CDs and games for your use, and a large family-sized bathroom with THE most amazing jacuzzi bath (which I dare you not to try!!). The owners are lovely, are right next door and on hand for help or tourist information. The apartment has wi-fi, Off-street parking directly opposite the apartment. The apartment is ideally situated for touring the local area. We visited many, many places and the longest drive we had was just over an hour round-trip. It is only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Matlock, but allow yourselves 30 minutes for the walk back if you are using Bank Road (it is a bit steep). There are easier routes though. Matlock has lots of lovely shops, restaurants, a park, river and coffee shops. We enjoyed our stay very much and, as we only scratched the surface of things to do in the area, have already pencilled in a return visit."

"We stayed in this apartment in a cold snap in January and early February. We loved being in this warm and comfortable apartment while enjoying a panoramic view of snow on the opposite hillside and the town of Matlock nestling below. The apartment is wonderfully well equipped with just about everything one could wish for. We appreciate the fact that the owners are literally next door just in case we needed to ask them for something. Parking was convenient and off street in a parking lot opposite the house. The apartment is well located for Matlock although it would be a bit of a climb if you decided to walk up Bank Rd."
