Perfect for exploring the island, it offers wonderful bridleways for horse riding, mountain biking and walking; from light strolls across glorious countryside or tougher challenges along the downs. A selection of shops, restaurants, pubs to suit all tastes can be found four miles away in Newport.

"Stable Cottage is at the end of a quiet lane surrounded by lovely countryside. There are many walks from the door. We found the cottage very warm and cosy with plenty of hot water and comfortable seating and beds. It was very clean and the owner is onsite if there are any problems (there weren't). We would love to stay again but are planning to get a dog soon and this property does not accept pets."
