The pretty Georgian coastal town of Aberaeron is located between Cardigan and Aberystwyth. There is an abundance of shops with unusual gifts, great eating places and pubs, and a quiet little harbour to enjoy watching the boats come and go. Aberaeron is perfectly positioned to enjoy watersports or coastal and countryside walks and cycle rides. Short drives to Cardigan to the south, or Aberystwyth to the north offer more shops, craft centres, museums and cinema or theatre visits. A lovely location all year round.

"we had a peaceful xmas break , 11 of us in total when all gathered together . Dawn and Ray made us feel very welcome from start to finish , nothing was too much trouble , they went out of their way to make it an extra special break for us , and whatever we asked for they supplied gladly , we were never made to feel awkward in asking for anything . The cotttage is very homely and they decorated it with a festive feel including a xmas tree with all beautiful decorations when we arrived . All the rooms are very spacious and comfortable , the log burner was put to good use , a nice cozy touch to the stay in the evenings ..We made good use of the hot tub placed outside , would definitely recommend a stay here , winter , summer or autumn , we didnt take the opportunity to check out the location , we were happy to just have a cozy winter stay enjoying xmas with family and the kitchen was plenty big enough for large families .. thanks Dawn and Ray for your wonderful hospitality ,,,"
"Lovely cottage, very pet friendly, clean and spacious, great new hot tub in garden, very quiet area, local shooting, fish pond, and lovely woodland walks with the dogs, couldn't ask for more, owners Ray and Dawn were a delight and so helpful. Great size bedrooms and bathrooms, very well equipped large kitchen plus handy boot room for drying wet dogs ! We will definitely return."
"Definitely be back again, first class really helpful hosts, stayed a week, wanted stay a month, going to miss the place its an home from home."
"Our very large family stayed here this week and had a wonderful time. We were greeted by Ray with a bottle of wine and an open invitation to the wheelchair friendly treehouse, swings and trampoline he had built in his garden. He also welcomed us to visit their stables and fishing lakes. If the weather had been kinder we would have made far more use of them. The large living room and spacious kitchen housed us all comfortably and had everything we needed to prepare large meals. The rooms were clean and well kept and the towels and beds made when we arrived was a lovely touch. Three modern bathrooms meant no queuing for the loo/shower/bath and the private decked garden with hot tub was amazing! We had daily visits from a gorgeous little one eyed cat named sooty who liked to bring us presents and a cheeky chocolate Labrador who's fond of crumpets and sausages! Despite being a working farm we were never disturbed by noise and the place was so well insulated and protected from sound. Thank you for a lovely week :-)"
"This property suited an extended family with large age range. The hot tub was an enjoyable bonus. Excellent facilities for pets."
"The whole family (11 of us ) ages varying from 13yrs to 70 yrs spent the bank holiday weekend here for an 18th birthday . The cottage is spacious , clean , beautifully decorated and the owners have thought of everything. The added extras such as the log burner and use of the hot tub made the cottage even more of a treat. The poor weather did not bother us at all because the cottage was so cosy and comfortable . It also has enough room so everyone can escape to their own space if needed. A wonderful retreat made even more special by the hosts Thank you . "
"Cant complain about this beautiful cottage, So relaxing and gorgeous. the owners have the cottage on their land and they are very friendly and helpful, had a brilliant weekend for a friends 18th birthday party, even when we were loud at night they never once complained. Really happy with our weekend, can not wait to go again!!!!!!!!!"
"My wife and I stayed here with our parents and our 3 springer spaniels. The cottage is well laid out, spacious and relaxing. The hot tub was a lovely treat and our beds were all very comfy. We were made to feel really welcome and our stay was very relaxing. We were pleased that the garden was fully enclosed for the dogs and that the accommodation was comfortable, tastefully finished and everything we needed was there.Great local beaches nearby. New Quay well worth a visit."
