Reviews
"We stayed at Daisy Cottage in Cheddleton for the bank holiday weekend, it was so much more than we expected! Local pub is literally a stones throw away- friendly locals and the canal and garden in the picture that attracted us to this cottage did not disappoint! Litealy could not fault this cottage... the owners have thought of everything from shower gel to cotton buds and even a baby monitor! Everywhere was lovely and clean, more than big enough for family of 5. There is also a keysafe outside which was good for us late arrivals! We went to Alton towers which was a short drive away and a lovely cafe called the country kitchen/cafe which was on the way to alton towers, which i would definitely recommend! We would not hesitate to come back here again or recommend! Thank you so much for a lovely weekend x"
"This cottage has so much charm and character it was a pleasure to stay here. So well equipped too with everything I needed in the kitchen to cook for the family. The loft bedroom was ideal for the teenagers and the whole cottage is decorated as if it's a family home with lots of little knick knacks and additional equipment like satellite TV and iPod docking station. Watching the long boats passing the bottom of the garden was nice and we townies learnt a thing or two about locks!"
"I booked this lovely little cottage at short notice. We were also joined by our youngest son and partner. The house was lovely and clean and in a superb location - canal, pub and steam train all within a minute's walk. The canal was at the bottom of the garden where the ducks came to be fed every day (duck food supplied). The neighbours were lovely (human anad animal). Thank you so much Jo and Marcus for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage and it was so nice to meet you both. We hope to come and stay again (if you'll let us) - hopefully for a longer holiday next time."
"We stayed for a long weekend with our 15 year old and 11 year old sons to visit Alton towers. The cottage is gorgeous and a real relaxing haven. The house is so clean and tidy but everything you could need is there. Kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil you can think of. The owners have thought of everything from wood for the burner in the garden and lounge to bubble bath to a wine exchange. A very welcoming home and a lovely long bath. But the best bit is the peaceful garden with canal at the bottom even the kids came and sat and chatted for hours with no electronics! Only 25 mins drive from Alton towers too"
