The old village of Tebay sits near the Lake District National Park. The village itself winds its way along the edge of the main thoroughfare and the traditionally whitewashed Cross Keys Inn has been there for 500 years or more. Along with its better-known neighbours of Kendal, Sedbergh and Appleby-in-Westmorland, the area is surrounded by rolling countryside and beautiful scenery.
