Reviews
"I stayed at Owls Nest for the August Bank Holiday week with my daughter, son-in-law and two of my granddaughters. We had a brilliant time, the park has had a lot of money invested in it since our stay last year and there was so much to do that we hardly had time to fit everything in. Owls Nest was just as we expected, having stayed in it for a week in 2015. The lodge had everything we could possibly want and was just as spotlessly clean as the first time we stayed there. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and make regular use of it, and to sit on the veranda watching the many ducks, geese, swans etc, on the lake, and see the different aircraft from RAF Conningsby flying over every day was a real treat. We were welcomed with a lovely card, a bottle of wine and a hospitality tray from Janet, the owner of the lodge, she really does go the extra mile for her guests. I would recommend Owls Nest without hesitation to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, welcoming holiday home. Well done Janet."
"We went for a girly weekend away before my sisters wedding and we had a brilliant time. Owls nest was very clean and cosy, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hot tub was great for relaxing in! The location was awesome and it was so nice opening our curtains in the morning and seeing the lake outside. We all wished our stay was longer as we didn't feel ready to leave and I'm sure we'll be back to stay again. Definitely recommend Owls nest for a relaxing stay.. "
"I stayed at Owls Nest with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter at the end of August 2015. We were absolutely delighted with the lodge, it was spotlessly clean and the owners had thought of everything to make it into a real home away from home, including fresh flowers, refreshment tray and welcome card. The location is excellent, as far away from the centre of the park as it was possible to be, yet still only a short walk or drive from the amenities. Hardly any traffic noise because of the location. The veranda looks directly onto the lake, with its multitude of water birds an added bonus. I would recommend the Owls Nest to all my friends and family and we are looking forward to booking it again next year."
