Reviews
"Amazing place. Really nice people. Great location and amazing view! We will be coming back for certain! We loved meeting the puppies and the horses and really loved the hot tub overlooking the amazing view with the really well done deck (and I loved the amount of plants there were). Really great people and wifi worked well and they responded really well to emails. I liked the wetroom. Only criticism I had was i wished there was a window or something we could open at night as we were staying during the heatwave and we were quite hot at night. Amazing place. Really nice people. The Cock Inn is about a 10 minute walk - great outdoor space and great local beers; I had a cider that was made on the street the cottage was on! Really nice landlord too! Shut on Wednesdays I think and not open for lunch sadly (I dont think). There is also Blakeney fish n Chips alight might be a 15 minute walk perhaps. Suggest if you walk to the pub bring a torch for the walk back for safety."
"We stayed at The Orchard Cottage for 3 nights. We were welcomed by Doreen who showed us around. The cottage was very clean, cosy and relaxing! Was grateful for the supplies tea bags, sugar etc as never normally had this before! The hot tub was amazing! A definite luxury for both of us and we felt really relaxed! Lovely area with fantastic views of the River Severn and countryside, plenty of things to do in surrounding areas! We will definitley be coming back here again soon."
"We absolutely loved our time at Paddock House. The hosts were lovely and when we arrived we had basic supplies and fresh local eggs waiting. The cottage is upside down, but that was great because we had our dog, so letting him out for a wee from the bedroom was quite helpful. The lounge kitchen upstairs was perfect in size, there was a TV if wanted, but we mainly used our radio. The local walks were nice but muddy at that time of year. The walk right out of the back of the property is very steep so my partner wasn't able due to a recent surgery. But there were a few flat walks a short walk away near go ape. The walk into the village pub was fine, about 15 mins there and 20 back. The food at the pub was nice and the locals lovely. The main feature was the hot tub, with views over green rolling hills and plastic glasses provided for our champers. Although the main house is right behind you, it doesn't feel overlooked and is very private. We loved our stay and hope to be back and enter th cottage next door too if possible with friends. If you're thinking of booking, get in there quick, it's in high demand."
"Stayed at paddock house for a week in june 2015, the cottage is an upside down relaxing retreat, hot tub is fabulous,we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts tony and doreen who coulnt do enough for us, we wouldnt hesitate to go back, lots to see and do in surrounding areas or a short strole away there was a pub shop and restaurant. Very relaxing and pleasant stay."
