The village of Eglwysbach is in the wonderful Conwy Valley, which is renowned for its beautiful countryside, scenic walks and the world famous Bodnant Gardens. Nearby Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is one of Britain's most unspoiled historic towns. A true medieval gem, the town is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls - fortified with 21 towers and three gateways, the walls form an almost unbroken shield around the old town.
Reviews
"We stayed here for the weekend and it was excellent! The house itself has been finished to a high spec and has everything you need plus extra touches. It was also spotlessly clean. On arrival the owners had left us a welcome hamper full of goodies and were really helpful with any questions we had. The views from the house are stunning and the alpacas on the field are fun to watch. The lady even let some of us feed them. Also outside is a large hot tub which we enjoyed using. My only tip is to do with access. It is up a steep hill and a sat nav can take you two ways. Unless you are in a 4x4 I would make sure you come via the village turning right up the hill. If you come the other way as we did, the track narrows with long grass in the middle, which is not ideal for a mini . Overall though we would definitely stay again! "
"We booked Bryn Dewr for a hot tub hen do weekend and were not disappointed! The house is fantastic - decor and cleanliness are spot on and the views are simply breathtaking. The hot tub was super relaxing and easy to access and hot tub shoes/flip flops were kindly provided for when you go to and from the hot tub! The games room was ace with various games, dvd's and books available and catered to all ages. The owners are lovely and very easy to talk to and organise key collection, etc. We were even given some food to feed the alpacas in the adjoining field which was a massive hit! Our only regret is we didn't book for longer! Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable, 10/10 would definitely recommend"
"Just spent a week here. We could not have wished for a better place. Superb property with the added luxury of a hot tub overlooking rolling hills. The rooms including the beds are of a very high standard. The onsite facilities could not be faulted. A beautiful welcome pack sat waiting our arrival along with a most gracious welsh welcome from the property owners all this made a most memorable week in North Wales."
"This is a beautiful house, with comfortable rooms. Our entire family enjoyed the facilities, the owner was really welcoming. The house is half way up a very steep lane on the outskirts of a quiet village, plenty of room for four vehicles out the front. The views from the back are beautiful, and the alpaca wandering about the field as neighbours are fun to watch. The hot tub is a bonus, it is lovely to sit in when aching from a climb on Snowdon. The quality of furniture is great, so many times I have stayed in rental houses and the furniture is uncomfortable but in this house they have gone that extra mile to provide comfort. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with nice saucepans, cutlery and crockery, and a lovely big fridge. The welcome pack was lovely with local items in it. The log fire was brilliant on the night time when the temperature dropped low for August. I would thoroughly recommend this house to stay with a 40 minute drive to Mount Snowdon you are well situated to get about ."
"We have stayed in other rentals, but this is on another level !!! 5 star plus Family of 8 stayed over weekend, and on opening door, we were all blown away. All fixtures and fittings, top quality . Photos really dont convey how beautiful this cottage is, seeing is believing. Icing on cake is superb hot tub, and log burner for those colder nights. There is something about a real fire, our 2 dogs couldn't wait to curl up each night in front of this !!! Saturday night, we had eight people in tub, relaxing and enjoying a few drinks. It will fantastic to stay over the summer, great garden layout, quality garden furniture, enjoying hot tub, with spectacular views. The welcome pack, was fit for a king !! All local produce, a lovely touch by Delyth, and her family, who were the perfect hosts. Great games room, for parties with younger children as well."
"Where do i begin, from the moment we arrived at this beautiful cottage with its breath taking views, we knew we had chosen wisely, the owners Delyth, David & their lovely daughter Erin made us so welcome & the welcome hamper was superb, we couldn't fault this wonderful cottage, with the wonderful surroundings, stepping out of the kitchen to find Alpacas as our neighbours for the next 2 weeks was a highlight for all the family (i wanted to bring them home with me) we felt the outside was brought inside, as soon as you step through the front door, you are met by the magnificent views from the rear of the cottage, soaking in the hot tub taking in the surroundings was bliss, all the family want to return again next year........(that speaks volumes)."
