Set over three floors, this cottage sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, consisting of two ground floor zip/link king-size doubles, one with en-suite, a ground floor double with an en-suite, a ground floor twin and a second floor double with balcony. The cottage also has a first floor kitchen with breakfast bar, a first floor sitting room with dining area, a second floor bathroom and a ground floor bathroom. Outside there's off road parking for four cars and an enclosed lawned garden with decked area and furniture. Aboutime Cottage is an ideal base for families with plenty of walks and cycle routes to explore in the area. Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Parkend is a thriving village situated at the southern end of the Royal Forest of Dean offering two lovely pubs, a store, Post Office and a 19th century railway station, part of the Dean Forest Railway. Close by is the RSPB Nagshead Reserve, which is home to many rare woodland birds and offers interesting events for all ages throughout the year. The magnificent Royal Forest of Dean, England's largest oak forest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts numerous trails that can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback.
