Downstairs is a kitchen with breakfast bar, and a sitting room with dining area and open fire. Outside is off road parking for one car, a small front patio and a rear decked area with furniture. Lea Cottage is just a few miles from the Peak District towns of Bakewell and Buxton, with Alton Towers, Sheffield and Manchester all easily reached.

Small front yard and raised deck with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Note: Raised patio accessed via six steps with a handrail aid.

The village of Bamford is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park and offers two pubs and a shop. Close by is are the villages of Hathersage with its open air heated swimming pool and Castleton with is wonderful caves. Also in the area are Chatsworth House, NT Longshaw Estate, Buxton and Bakewell. An ideal base all year round.
