Outside there is ample off road parking and a large decked patio with furniture. Primrose Cottage is a lovely base for your holiday. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The town of Malton has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers' markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent country for walkers and cyclists.

"We stayed here for three nights and had the nicest time. The cottage itself is beautiful, cosy but modern. It was very clean and had everything you needed. The hot tub is a huge bonus, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Although it is attached to another cottage, it is very private, with fences separating the two properties. The location is also very good, secluded enough to maintain an idyllic peaceful countryside, but also close enough to Malton if you want to go there. It's also about 30 minutes to the York park and ride which was handy. Wish we could have stayed longer. "
"Primrose cottage is a lovely cottage set in some stunning country side. It is just a short drive from the small town of Malton which is known for it's food. We stayed here with some friends to celebrate 2 of our birthdays, even during the cold January evenings and nights, the hot tub is a great way to relax and star gaze. There are a number of walks around the area, one of which leads to a nice local pub in Leavening (The Jolly Farmer) which was a lovely way to spend our Sunday afternoon. The cottage has every thing you need, even a BBQ! You can spend your whole time in the cottage or it also works well as a base for exploring Yorkshire. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, they want to make sure you have a great time and make the most of your stay."
