Reviews
"Just returned from a 3 day stay at Tilly Ba Lou, very nice little cottage, everything we needed for a little break away with the dog. Lovely wood burner in the living room. Very kind thought by owner to provide milk and bara brith cake on arrival! Just what we needed after a long journey. Very quite and peaceful, nice little stream behind the cottage. Chip shop next door very good! Lovely area with picturesque views. Would come back. Thank you"
"The cottage is small but nice, the only downside is the noise neighbour above the bedroom that plays music from 6:45 till 8 Monday to Friday, my husband went round to ask the lady to turn it down and she reply with I work and slammed the door in his face. we try to contact the owner to no answer and sent a text to no reply, i guest once she has your money she doesn't care. The owner as a sign up in the bedroom about keep the noise down because there a bedroom above your bedroom, it a pity that we kept noise down to the person not to return the same manners. if you are planning to stay in the village, fr a nice quiet, relaxing time i would recommend somewhere else then this cottage"
"My wife and I wanted a short break in North Wales with our little dog, and booked Tilly Ba Lou. The cottage is tiny - a living room with a shop sized window overlooking the road, a kitchen, small bathroom and bedroom with no windows. Although the cottage was tiny, it was extremely well equipped - open a drawer or cupboard and everything or anything that you were looking for was there. The village is lovely. A pub - the Kinmel Arms - does decent food and beer, and overlooks the small natural harbour. Our dog enjoyed some lovely walks along the cliffs to the next bay, and we were able to drive a few miles to explore some of Snowdonia and Anglesey. Negatives - the patio is tiny and not really suitable for sitting outdoors, but there are lovely places in the harbour and along the clifftop footpaths where we could sit."
