Sea Palling is a beautiful coastal village conveniently located at equidistant between Great Yarmouth in Suffolk and Cromer in Norfolk so it is a perfect base for exploring both counties. The award winning beach offers excellent sheltered swimming and watersports, with the beach having the advantage of having RNLI lifeguards on duty every day. Reviews
"We were lucky enough to spend Christmas at Rosemary Cottage. Everything you could possibly need is there which enabled me to cook a full Christmas dinner which I was quite daunted about not being in my own kitchen, but I needn't have worried. The whole place is tastefully decorated throughout, and real thought has gone into every room, from the fully fitted kitchen to the cloakroom. We had beautiful Christmas decorations up which made the week even more special. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolate biscuits, which was a lovely touch and it was also lovely and warm. Whilst everything was beautiful we still felt at home and with two dogs in tow we were able to relax. We were in walking distance of the beach and a visit to see the seals is a must at this time of year. I would definitely recommend Rosemary Cottage to anyone who wants a break from the hustle and bustle of life."
"Rosemary Cottage is a delight. Not posie but very well decorated and finished with some lovely stylish features - the owners Zoe & Jamie have certainly digested lots of copies of 'Country Living' when thinking about how they wanted their holiday home to look. We stole it for a long weekend in December and were treated to a Christmas tree, lights and subtle decorations. The was just the 2 of us and our trusty hound so had no plans on cooking much but the kitchen is well kitted out. Comfortable bed (all the others looked great but we didn't use them), bathroom was nice with a deep double ended tub and a to die for shower. Parking was fine and there was a little garden that I would think is a delight in the warmer months. We holed up in front of the log burner with glasses of red wine - utter bliss. Minutes from the cottage is the beach and it is wonderful and we walked for miles with the occasional seal popping up its head. Understand there are hundreds of baby seals nestled in the rocks but as we had the dog with us, we didn't think it fair to go and see them. Sea Palling is a quiet village, not much happening out of season but there is a clear community feeling, a little shop, a chippy and cafe - dog friendly. A small amusent place and the 'local' called Reefs Bar. You have got to go there!! It's painted a lurid green but is super friendly. We had Sunday lunch there and can honestly say it was amazing value and delicious. Would definately come back to Rosemary Cottage if we wanted to holiday in this area again."
"A nice cottage. Very nicely decorated. Great for a large family. Take slippers or slipper socks as all floors are woodentiles. Great location for the beach and eating places. Dog friendly. Would advise you take ba water bbowlmfor you dog. Would not recommend for disabled person though. Perfect retreat and could not fault how the property was kept."
