"I wish I had read all the reviews before booking this. We went last year and had a lovely holiday. The house is amazing and we loved it again this year. However we were on the way home when Sykes accused us of breaking the hot tub lid. ! They have kept some of my good housekeeping bond without proof from the owner. So go if you have the time to photograph everything before you use it. Keep away. Sykes have not been very supportive of this at all."

"Lovely property with stunning views. Weather was great which added to the holiday. Chilled out on the sun drenched patio in the afternoons and stressed out in the hot tub. What more could one want. Pendine beach is close, the walk back uphill is a challenge but if needs drop the car down. Close to Tenby, Saundersfoot and Pembroke. Loved it."

"We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying in this wonderful house. We were a family of 6 adults and 4 children. We could not fault it. The owners have thought of everything even down to bottle stops. It was very clean and extremely spacious which meant the children could always find somewhere to play. The hot tub was amazing. We were very fortunate with the weather and most mornings we were in the hot tub which overlooked Pendine Sands. What better way to start the day. The views were fantastic. We had no problems with any of the equipment. We met the caretaker on the day we arrived and he was very polite and said if we needed anything at all to just ring him but we never needed to. His wife came each day to check and clean the hot tub. I have read some of the previous reviews but any problems that previous guests had have all been addressed by the owner and rectified. Our bond was refunded very quickly too. This is definitely a property I would return to if ever we all holidayed together again."

"The house is very beautiful but half way up a massive hill with a 20% gradient. Cycling down was very hairy, cycling up was a killer. The views are indeed stunning but the house has some serious deficits. Firstly the BBQ was filthy, I didn't fancy scrubbing it so we didn't use it. The hot tub wasn't as clean as it should be either. The white sofas need a deep clean as someone else mentioned and over all standards of cleanliness were not what you would expect for a rental costing over a thousand pounds. Since we returned I've also had trouble getting the owner to return my deposit despite there being no issues and me sending my bank details twice."

"Had a lovely family Christmas in this amazing place, so spacious and views were lovely. The only criticism was lack of kitchen equipment, no tea towels and towels for shower/ bath were small ( me being size 10 ) they were more like a large hand towel "

"Fabulous house with amazing views. Room proportions brilliant. Great space for a large party and children. Immaculately clean on arrival. Needs to have kitchen equipment updated. We had to buy a large pan and casserole dish. If the house sleeps 10 then equipment should be provided to cater for this many. Other than that a perfect weeks holiday. "

"Large house, 5 beds 4 baths/showers, with hot tub. Exceptional views across Pendine beach from lounge. Would suit large groups or families. Limited parking on drive . However I would not classify this property as luxury. I feel it is tIred , the soft furnishings in the main lounge need deep clean. kitchen utensils poor, not good enough. Bbq I would not use. We were disappointed. There are plenty of good restaurants , but they are a short drive."

"We hired this home for a week and what a find. Stunning views that you can not tire of. Somewhat breathtaking! The house sleeps 10 with 5 bedrooms. All rooms bar one have en suite facilities (the one without has a loo right next door!). Large spacious living area on first floor (an upside down house!) with great seating area and additional sofas facing a large TV and projector. Still, why watch TV when you have that view? Also has the added bonus of a hot tub which we used twice despite the horrendous (normal?) weather we experienced. The owners keep it hot all year round so we could jump right in. We found the home comfortable. Beautiful fixtures and fittings this place is done out to a high standard. Beds were comfy and bathrooms beautifully fitted. Only slight criticisms were around the standard and variety of kitchen utensils (little worn and few items missing that were key to a self catering holiday). However, so very minor in the scale of things. We used Pendine as a Base to explore as the place itself is not hugely appealing (apart from the beach). We had a 10 month baby in our party and thr owners provided a travel cot and highchair. Overall, great place and despite weather, would love to visit again."

"Had a fantastic long weekend away with friends. The house is amazing, underfloor heating and every mod-con you could think of. I imagine in the summer it would feel like being abroad due to the tiled flooring and huge windows. The upstairs contains an ensuite double room with two joined living rooms and an open plan kitchen/dining area. Downstairs are four bedrooms and bathrooms, utility room and opens out onto the patio with a hot tub. We all slept well and the sofas are perfect for snuggling on. A perfect house, and we would love to return again. We also had a disabled person with us who we reserved the upstairs bedroom for. They can climb stairs when given time and this meant they only had to climb the stairs at the start and end of the trip, which was much easier for them. As the kitchen and living areas are upstairs, it could be lonely for a more disabled person."
