There's also permit parking available for one car in a local car park. Owl Cottage is a superb base for a couple, with plenty to see and do within reach. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Gas central heating with electric stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, wine cooler, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVDs, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking available for 1 car at local car park 1 min walk from property, permit provided by owner. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 min walk. Note: This property has open tread stairs.

"We've stayed in quite a few S/C places in the Dales over the past 20+ years and Owl Cottage is as good as any we've experienced. Our needs have changed little in that time - other than our son no longer comes with us! We look for somewhere comfortable to come back to each night, convenient parking and decent places to eat. Owl Cottage ticks all the boxes. Add to that the wonderful Yorkshire scenery and the choice of easy(ish) and challenging walks within reasonable distance and it's hard to think of a better holiday. We didn't meet the owners, Mike and Karen, during our stay but the contact beforehand and for 'laundry handover' was warm and friendly. The welcome pack was just that - very welcome after six hours driving! We'll certainly be putting this as our first choice for any future trips to Yorkshire."

"Excellent cottage spotlessly clean very nicely decorated and furnished has everything you need for a break away Very comfy and warm Mike and Karen have put a lot of thought and hard work into making this a beautiful holiday home and an enjoyable place to stay. Lovely views from lounge and bedroom Excellent location for good pubs, restaurants, cafes and little shops down the cobbled street, park and the steam train. Haworth is a very interesting village. Also a very nice welcome pack bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, sugar hot chocolate, even sweatner, marmalade, porridge, box of chocolates, and wine. What more could you ask for? "After visiting Howarth for several years and staying in most of the hotels we was recommended Owl Cottage and have never looked back. We have stayed in this beautiful cottage 8 times and look forward to our next visit. Mike and Karen go the extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable. Large comfortable bed, fantastic shower, fully equipped kitchen, lovely decor, peaceful surroundings and in the heart of Howarth. Pure relaxation. "We stayed for a long weekend and found the cottage to be in a great location and well equipped for our stay. Cosy and warm, we were able to feel right at home. So close to the shops and pubs of Haworth, a bacon butty in a morning was only a few steps up the road. Communication with the owners on key pick-up etc was very good, they went the extra mile to provide cot, high chair and stair-gate for our 10 month old, which saved us space in the car! Parking is only a very short walk away from the cottage, we didn't find this a problem, we've stayed in big hotels where the walk to the carpark is a lot further than we experienced here. We had a great time and would happily stay in Owl Cottage again whether it be for a romantic stay for two, a base for exploring the area, taking a trip on the Keighly & Worth Valley Railway or just enjoying the delights of Haworth."
"The cottage is in a perfect location with great views out the back. We had a lovely time, modern fittings but still cosy, clean, everything you needed to hand and the welcome pack was the icing on the cake. "Owl Cottage is a little haven right near the centre of Haworth. It was lovely to be in the heart of the village yet not be overwhelmed by all the tourists. The cottage is very comfortable. It's close to pubs and restaurants if you want to eat out, and the kitchen is very well equipped if you prefer to stay in and cook. The wine cooler is a nice touch! I would happily go back there, though for a longer stay and walking in the Dales the lack of washing machine might be a nuisance."
