Reviews
"What can I say!! This place had everything and more, photos don't show it's true size. Me and 15 Friend's have just spent 4 days celebrating my 40th, I we all had a fantastic time. This house has something for everyone, the owners provide dressing gowns for the hot tub, towels, footballs and more. Now we did see reviews about not leaving basics! Tea, coffee, salt etc but this shouldn't be expected by anyone. Bedroom's are amazing and beds are so cosy and clean. In fact we couldn't fault the house for cleanliness. Even with 16 adults the house was more than big enough and we never felt crowded. Whilst we never needed to leave the house, there was plenty around. Pubs just over a 10min walk away, and a food places to eat. We did order our shopping to be delivered but it can be hard to find the house, so make sure you can guide them to the house. 1000% we would all stay again and I would highly recommend this house for both families and groups of friends but if you go in couples you will find the men in the basement hahaha"
"Set back from a busy road but the area is lovely, a week wasn't long enough to do everything. If the weather had been poor the house offers lots of choices with snooker, table tennis, dance studio (loved by 12 year old granddaughter) and movie room. Outside we enjoyed the hot tub and tennis court. Ages ranged from 1 to 91. Bring your own salt and pepper, etc Loved the nearby Indian restaurant, Italian not so great. Lots of great pubs with good pub food. Forest of Bowland great for a walk."
"I would suggest that anyone staying here takes a photo of every room at the beginning of their stay and again at the end. Then there can be no confusion as to where stools, cushions, toys, cds etc. should be returned if moved. Also of the outside area then there can be no claims of beer glasses being left outside. That way you may get all your Bond returned."
"We visited Woodfield farm just last week, 12 girls on a hen weekend , then the hen s parents and children joined her for the remaining week it was booked for. Fabulous house and location, we had an amazing time with all of the amazing amenities we had on offer. We especially loved the hot tub and movie room. However I was very disappointed that after organising this fabulous house for me friends hen week, that we were not greeted when we arrived and we were not left a welcome pack, we had no travelled a long way and expected at least a bottle of milk and some tea or coffee. Past properties have left bread, milk , tea , coffee , wine etc. The cupboards were bare. Not even any salt or pepper. Our shopping delivery did not arrive for 2 hours so a cup of tea would have been nice after a long journey. The outside area was quite disappointing, it needed the grass cut and the furniture was shabby. A few loungers and nice furniture would be perfect. Also we enjoyed the hot tub but only could fit 6 people in , there was 12 of us so maybe a bigger hot tub for such a huge property. It sleeps 16. Just a few minor things really as we did have a brilliant time and the house is amazing. The owners where brilliant when we needed help with a few things, they came straight out to fix the problem. I would definitely return but would like to see the gardens tidied up and more furniture to enjoy the outside areas."
