This excellent, holiday home, set between Slaithwaite and Golcar, near Huddersfield, sleeps fourteen people in six bedrooms. Six bedrooms: 1 x second floor family room 1 double and 1 single with en-suite bath, basin and WC. First floor - 1 x king-size double with en-suite bath, basin and WC, 2 x double (one with en-suite shower, basin and WC), 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, twin basins and WC. 1 x ground floor family room with one double and single bed, 1 x ground floor cloak room - WC and hand basin, 1 x ground floor shower cubicle, 1 x ground floor kitchen/diner. . Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area (seats 8) and orangery (seats 6). Utility. Sitting room with woodburner.
Oak Villa is a fabulous, country house, set between the villages of Golcar and Slaithwaite, a few miles west of Huddersfield. With six bedrooms set across the first and second floors, three with en-suites, it can sleep up to fourteen people. There's also a family bathroom, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and orangery, and a separate sitting room with woodburner. Outside, there is off road parking for four cars, plus a terrace with covered sitting area with woodburning heater and a lawned area with furniture. Oak Villa enjoys stunning, sweeping views across the Cone Valley and provides large groups with an excellent holiday home. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Gas central heating with woodburner. Range cooker with two electric ovens and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner and patio heater inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Lawned garden with patio and furniture, terrace with covered seating area and woodburning patio heater and shared use of owner's woodland. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: Owner can provide a taxi service by separate negotiation and at additional cost. Note: A public footpath running through the owner's woodland leads to a spa. Note: No stag/hen or similar.

Golcar nestles on a hillside crest above the Colne Valley, 2.5 miles from Huddersfield, alongside the River Colne and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. The village played an important part as a weaving centre in the Industrial Revolution, and now provides a delightful West Yorkshire holiday base, steeped in history and made up of charming cobbled streets and local shops including a fantastic butcher, bakery, delicatessen and a range of inns and eateries.

"We stayed here in this stunning new built house , it has enough room for 10 expletive to all have there own space or all be together. House is very clean and well kept. The owner was very helpful with suggestions of places of interest locally and amazing locally produced food. The house has beautiful views over clone valley and slaithwaite,and whatever the weather you can sit outside with a open fire in the stunning shack outside or you could sit in the conservatory with the night sky above and again the stunning views. I would rate this a 10 out of 10. Lovely home and brillient location for any large or small family trip. Highly recommended"
