This fabulous ground floor log cabin is ideal for cosy escapes away from it all, three miles from Dunvegan and can sleep two people in one bedroom. All ground floor. One king-size double bedroom. Shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with multi-fuel stove.
The Cabin @ Seaview is a fabulous detached log cabin, situated to the rear of the owner's home, ideal for cosy escapes away from it all, three miles from Dunvegan and can sleep two people. Set all on the ground floor there is a king-size double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with multi-fuel stove. Outside there is ample off road parking and a gravel and lawned area with furniture. The Cabin @ Seaview is a wonderful holiday base. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Oil central heating with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV with Freeview, radio/iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Shed available for storage. Gravel and lawn area with furniture. Chiminea available for BBQ (fuel not supplied). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles. Coast 10 mins walk. Note: 2 adults only, no infants.

The village of Dunvegan is situated in north west Skye and offers a mixture of traditional stone and modern houses and a selection of shops and hotels, plus about a mile from the village is Dunvegan Castle.

"We had the most fantastic week in Skye. The Cabin was an amazing base in a brilliant location. A perfect home away from home and a great place to come back and relax in after a busy day exploring the island. The cabin is really well situated, most of the places we visited were no more than a 40 minute drive, with many being much closer. "What a magical stay! We visited the Cabin for a week in late October and found everything we needed for a peaceful yet luxurious week away. The Cabin is very well equipped and has everything one would need...the views are just gorgeous and with the log burner and the fabulous heating, I can't imagine it ever feeling less than cosy here, even in the harsh winter weather! The bed is very comfortable and the shower a dream! The kitchen has everything you could need and everything is brand new given the newness of the Cabin. There is so much to see and do locally and with easy access right across the island...the Cabin makes for a wonderful base to explore! The only constructive comment I would make is that a few pictures added to the walls to remind visitors of the beauty of Skye and perhaps a notice board to advertise local markets, craft stores and restaurants wouldn't go a miss to add that homely feel. But given the newness of the Cabin these may be added in time...and in the meantime, you can just open the door, take a deep breath and admire the views in your slippers! We'll definitely be back...for longer we hope as we've fallen in love with the island and we couldn't imagine a better, more comfortable, private and peaceful place to stay! "We had a wonderful stay at The Cabin. It had everything we needed for our holiday and the shower was amazing! Really well laid out and perfect for couples. It was also really well placed to tour northern Skye with most places within 30 mins drive. Dunvegan castle is just up the road and is well worth a visit, and we had some brilliant walks including Neist Point and the coral beach (we spent ages watching the seals there) We really want to come back to Skye and this is the first place we will check availability for when we do. Thank you!"
