Bramble Cottage is a beautiful barn conversion situated in the village of Birkby, 1.6 miles from the town of Maryport in Cumbria. This cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor zip & link twin, one king-size double with en-suite shower room, one first floor zip & link twin and one double, as well as a bathroom with roll-top bath. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with woodburning stove and a games room. Outside there is ample off road parking and a private garden and terrace. Bramble Cottage is a wonderful holiday home, close to many tourist attractions and great places to visit. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 4 cars. Lockable bike storage. Private front garden with terrace, furniture and BBQ. Table tennis table and dart board in external building. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1.6 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: The driveway to the property is quite narrow and not suitable for large, wide vehicles, like motor homes.

The town of Maryport offers a deep water harbour and modern marina, shopping centre, weekly market, beautiful Georgian houses, an aquarium, and two museums. The area is an excellent place walking and cycling, plus the town of Cockermouth, and the Lake District National Park are close by.
