Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. More wood for stove can be supplied on an honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 1 car. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub with excellent food 10 mins walk. Note: There is an interconnecting door to the owner's home on each floor which are locked from both sides. Note: The central heating is on from 7am to 10am and then 6:30pm to 10:30pm, additional hours by request.

Oldfield is a small Pennines village between Oakworth and Haworth, overlooking the Worth Valley, made famous by the filming of the classic 1970 film version of E.E. Nesbitt's novel, The Railway Children.

"This was a fantastic cottage with a fantastic host. We stayed over christmas with our dog (puppy), The garden is 100% dog friendly and fully enclosed. Gwenda is really friendly and on hand to help put. There are plenty of places to walk on your doorstep and pubs within walking distance. We preferred the Golden Fleece as it was pet friendly throughout, the staff were friendly and it serves food. (turn right out of the cottage and around 3/4 mile walk). The cottage is very cosy and warm especially with the log burning stove. We are looking to come back when it's a little warmer as the views are amazing. On arrival the fire was already burning and Gwenda had left us some welcome treats and food together with a bottle of Cava which we had on christmas day. A perfect relaxing break for two with or without a dog."
