This contemporary, semi-detached cottage is located in the seaside town of Whitby, and sleeps five people in three bedrooms. Over four floors. Three bedrooms: 1 x lower ground floor double, 1 x lower ground floor narrow single, 1 x ground floor twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. First floor kitchen with dining area and breakfast bar. Second floor sitting room.
Kirkby House is a delightful semi-detached cottage located alongside the harbour in the town of Whitby, and the North York Moors and Coast. With three bedrooms, including one double, a single and a twin, this cottage can sleep five people. The rest of the cottage includes a bathroom, a cloakroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. Outside, there is roadside parking available on a first come, first served basis, and an enclosed courtyard garden. Kirkby House is ideally-situated to enjoy all of the delights of this fantastic seaside town, and the surrounding beauty of the North York Moors National Park. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Facilities & Amenities
Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing/dryer, slimline dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, DAB radio, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgates on all sets of stairs. Roadside parking on first come, first served basis at the bottom of Long Steps and at the top on The Ropery. Small side patio with furniture and BBQ (accessed from the outside). One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Beach 10 mins walk. Note: This property is accessed by a cobbled slope and 15 steps down from The Ropery or 48 steps up from Church Street. Note: The cottage is in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours if you are sitting out at night and keep the noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Whitby in North Yorkshire remains one of the regions most popular tourist hotspots, and with good reason. The town is at the mouth of the River Esk, and this old fishing port retains mush character in its winding streets and hidden alleys. There is a picturesque harbour, sandy beach and the famous Whitby Abbey. Close to other seaside destinations such as Scarborough, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby is also ideally placed for heading inland and exploring the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors National Park.

"Enjoyed a great week here with older grandkids and Welsh terrier. The house was perfect for everyone having their own space to chill if they wanted or come together as a family. Outside terrace a real bonus and well used! We found the parking space a bit stressful on first arrival as we didnt realise it wasn't beside the left hand side of the house but further away. Once we understood this however, it was no hassle at all. The house met all our expectations and the owners were very accommodating with queries I had. It was our 4th trip to Whitby as we love it there and this was the 4th different place we stayed. This one suited us best out of them all. Yes there's 4 floors but that's what to expect in whitby and it kept us all fit while we holidayed😊 Apologies for forgetting to write in the visitors book! These are just 2 views from the kitchen windows. Beautiful!"

"This is an absolutely fantastic cottage for the perfect Whitby holiday which is in the heart of the town, just 5-10 minutes walk to beach though the town.The cottage itself is beautifully presented and incredibly welcoming and comforting: it was well equipped with incredibly comfortable beds sleeping up to 5 guests ; also it has a perfect sized TV in its modern spacious living area with spectacular views overlooking the harbour and another great feature was the phenomenal bathrooms, the shower tends to your needs perfectly (which is easily adjusted a powerful shower spray) However, the only problem with the cottage is the parking; you have to be very lucky to get somewhere to park (but this is like most cotteges in the prime location of whitby).Don't let this put you off as it is a lovely cottage with breathtaking views! Defiantly recommend ."
