This beautiful terraced sandstone cottage, set in the quiet hamlet of Stockdalewath, is on a working farm and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. .

From the historic city of Carlisle there is so much to do, as the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are within easy reach, as is the Solway coast and Furness Peninsula.

"The cottage has been wonderfully restored in a modern style but retaining many original features. It's warm cosy and inviting and provides a great centre to explore both the Lakes and The Borders. The cottage has all the necessary facilities and a great Wifi signal. Lynn and Mark who own the cottage make your stay both enjoyable and very memorable."
"As you walk in you will realise the true beauty of this house. The gorgeous high ceilings and beams. And the tastefully selected and cosy interior design. Its always a worry booking to stay somewhere you've never visited before however i truly couldn't recommend this place high enough. The owner was extremely welcoming and kind. (Even baked us a few delicious treats) and a hamper full of goodies. It was spotless inside and had everything one would need. We wished we'd booked longer but we will definitely be returning asap! "
