This lovely detached house is situated in the village of Cawood near York and sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. Four bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double, 1 x double, 2 x twin (one zip/link, can be super king-size double on request). Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor bathroom with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Separate laundry room. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with open fire. Snug.
Humpty Dumpty Cottage is a superb detached house set in the village of Cawood, within reach of the city of York. This cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, consisting of one super king-size double, a double and two twins (one being zip/link), along with a bathroom and a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with open fire and a snug. There is also a separate laundry room. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with patio. Humpty Dumpty Cottage is an excellent base for families and friends to explore the area. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture, garden games available such as croquet. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: There?s a step between the kitchen and snug.

Cawood is a small, picturesque village just a 20 minute drive from the historic city of York. Situated on the banks of the River Ouse, Cawood has a shop, a Post Office, a charming 16th century inn, a Norman church and riverside walks. Within a short distance is York with its famous minster, castle walls and beautiful architecture.
