Reviews
"Well what can I say we don't want to leave, the cottage is lovely and remote just what we wanted for a peaceful break away and to celebrate a birthday. The cottage has everything you need and you are truly spoilt in Scotland as there are so many beautiful places to see and you don't have to travel hours to see them. If walking is your thing then Scotland is the place to be. Dave the owner is lovely and is only a phone call away if you need anything. The cottage is like a home from home and we couldn't have asked for anywhere better to stay. On a winter night the log fire is lovely and cosy. Every evening you see wildlife including rare pine Martin's and badgers and both will eat if you leave food out. It is amazing to see! As stated previously there is no Wi-Fi but we did not miss this, it was refreshing to get away from the rat race and enjoy the scenery and all the amazing things on the doorstep. Thank you so much for the stay and we are already planning our return."
"We stayed here in August 2018 - 2 adults, 2 children (aged 3 years, and 3 months) - very remote but beautiful location with everything you'd need in a property, with the possible exception of WiFi for the young children to access games and videos when parents are trying to have a lie in or just need 20 minutes peace and quiet! Everything else brilliant. Highly recommended, loads to do in the area. Wildlife visiting the property each evening for feeding was a real highlight."
"This cottage is built up on a hill overlooking Loch Duich. Sitting on the wrap round veranda taking in the views was absolutely breathtaking. Evening walks along the single track road at the side of the loch with the dog watching seals play in the loch was a daily occurrence. Second to last property in Leterfearn so nice and secluded. Dave the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Red deer come down from the hills at night to eat the grass in front of the cottage, saw pine martins on the veranda. Was going to keep this little gem quiet but that would be selfish, I will, definitely be back."
"A beautiful cottage in a lovely situation. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and warm. Right opposite Eilean Donan castle with views to the 5 Sisters of Kintail and on 6000 acres of walkable hills. Loved it! "
"We stayed at Druidaig cottage in May half term - family holiday with two children (7 and 5). The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we were blessed with wall to wall sunshine for the whole week. We absolutely loved everything about the cottage, amazing surroundings and scenery. The kids loved the great outdoors and spent the whole time playing in the gardens, the loch side and going for many walks nearby. A special treat was seeing the porpoise in Loch Duich one morning from the balcony. Binoculars are a must and I spent a large part of the holiday peering through mine. No internet or wifi signal which is exactly what we wanted - excellent. If you want it then a phone signal works fine. Absolutely idyllic and we had an amazing time."
"We have just returned from a week at Druidaig cottage and we have enjoyed a wonderful sunny week in this traditional highland cottage which has been sympathetically restored and is unspoilt, sitting perfectly in its beautiful and peaceful lochside location. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and the veranda is a great place to sit and enjoy breakfast and evenings enjoying the stunning views towards the 5 Sisters of Kintail. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and want you to enjoy your stay. The cottage is well placed for exploring the area including Wester Ross and Isle of Skye and for walking in the highlands. A great cottage which we highly recommend."
