Findhorn was at one time a very busy fishing port, and still preserves its strong connections with the sea today, with much of its village life centred around the bay, and fantastic sailing and watersports opportunities available with the Royal Findhorn Sailing Club resting on the waterfront. Its scenic location and gentle climate, influence by the Gulf Stream, make it a desirable destination. It is perhaps best known for being the home to the world-famous Findhorn Foundation, with its Ecovillage and international centre for holistic education.
Reviews
"We had a fab week based at Seaside Haven. Helen had everything you could possibly need & more & it was very clean & the other residents seemed friendly. Close to beach, restaurants & with a big box of ideas for things to do locally. A nice touch for our young kids was games & books on the book shelf too and a welcome pack with milk & bread etc. Fab place to stay & Helen was very personable on the phone & very contactable should you need her."
"The flat is almost on the dunes so has great sea views. Easy walking distance to pubs serving really good food and other village amenities. The accommodation is very well equipped and super clean. A welcome pack of good food with other items in the fridge was much appreciated.one of the best rentals I've ever stayed in."
"This apartment is in a fabulous location with lovely sea views. You step straight out onto the sand dunes. Findhorn is a lovely village with plenty of good food on offer at the local pubs and cafes. Your every need is catered for in this holiday apartment with the additional provision of a very generous welcome package to provide you with lovely goodies to help you settle in. It is spotlessly clean but is also decorated in a modern stylish way (far nicer than most typically bland holiday apartments) Perfect for all the family: a lovely children's room with bunk beds and books and games provided. The only problem is it is a struggle to leave!"
"We stayed at Seaside Haven for the first week in July 2017. This apartment is situated at the end of Findhorn with outstanding views over the dunes and onto the Moray Firth. The apartment is well furnished comfy and very clean, Helen the owner has thought of everything so as to make our stay stress free If you needed it Helen has already thought that you would need it. It's a must stay apartment for its location and its comfort, there are 2 pubs and are very good for pub grub."
