The small North Wales village of Henllan is situated between Denbigh and the Diamond Jubilee City of St Asaph. The village offers a shop/Post Office and a pub, which serves good food. St Asaph was awarded city status in 2012 and is best known for its magnificent white cathedral. In September, the city comes alive with the arrival of the North Wales International Music festival, which takes place across numerous locations, culminating for the last few years in a television finale, broadcast from the cathedral.
Reviews
"We spent a week here with our two dogs. As soon as we arrived we got a lovely welcome from Buzz the owners Jack Russell. The owner arrived soon afterwards to explain everything and suggest places of interest. The cottage had everything we could have wished, set in a lovely location, very peaceful but close to the pub and shop in the village. My first visit to Wales but hopefully not my last. Would return to Popty Bach too. Loved it."
"Fantastic place to stay, friendly helpful hosts, lovely village. Conwy has lots of places to visit, interesting shops and Denbigh is well worth a visit. Had a great week there and would love to go back. Our dogs seemed to love it and made good friends with little Buzz, the owners Jack Russell."
