Reviews
"What a stunning, quaint & cosy cottage in a quiet & scenic location. All the amenities were spot on, clean & ready to use. All info provided by the owner was fantastic & very helpful. Lot's of places to visit that really weren't too far away. We look forward to being able to visit the cottage again & explore other parts of North Wales that we missed this time around."
"Cosy cottage in a great location for exploring north wales with plenty of walks and Snowdon only 40mins drive. Lots of little treats awaited us which was a nice surprise ...bread, milk etc. Soap, tea towels etc all provided. The heating was on for us on our arrival which is always a plus with storage heaters. The garden at the rear is completely enclosed for dogs and there is a utility room for muddy boots and paws. The kitchen is lovely and clean and well equipped ......the only thing we couldn't find was a measuring jug! The fridge has a freezer compartment which isn't mentioned but very handy. Lovely comfortable bed and linen. The living area is probably abit compact for more than 2-4 people but was fine for my boyfriend and I plus two dogs. The only issue we had was that it was very dark in the bathroom at night, I think a brighter bulb is needed and we did try to avoid showers in the evenings due to this , and for a girl , applying makeup was impossible. The vanity unit in the main bedroom was also dark at night and could use a light above the mirror. It didn't lessen our enjoyment of the cottage but maybe something for the owner to consider as a future improvement. The parking is not as described here. There is actually one parking space on a drive next to the cottage and any additional parking is on the road but easy to park. This was fine for us as we only had the one car. Overall we had a great stay and the place was very clean and tidy ."
"Firstly the instructions on getting to the house were spot-on and the key handover was extremely efficient. I was a very last minute booking and the cottage was in an impeccable state. Very tastefully decorated. Awesome shower, very comfortable beds and the fireplace was expected to be used. The kitchen is fully equipped too. David, our contact was so very generous. He texted me things to do, with postcodes for the satnav. Any questions he answered, and was interested in making sure we were comfortable. 3g generally works and there is wifi so not too much of an issue on the mobile. Plan your journeys before leaving the house as internet and phone signal in Snowdonia are not really acquainted. It was a very efficient location in regards to getting around. Being vegan there were places to eat in Betws-y-Coed which was a short car journey to and the main source of food shopping too. Amazing pizzeria there."
