The Apple Store is a gorgeous cottage for a romantic break at any time of year. The village of Whitchurch lies between the small market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, on the edge of the Royal Forest of Dean. Boasting lovely walks in every direction, Whitchurch has a thriving village shop and Post Office selling locally sourced products. Just a short distance away is Symonds Yat, a pretty Herefordshire village, which straddles the River Wye, home to the magnificent natural limestone rock popular with wildlife enthusiasts and climbers, as well as a Butterfly Farm and Maze.
