A lovely ground floor apartment, set within a converted Lakeland property, in an elevated position in Bowness-on-Windermere, sleeping five people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x family room with 1 double and 1 single. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and electric fire.
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Gas central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. Shared use of washing machine in external shed - key location provided on request after full payment from Sykes/Owner. TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels also hairdryers provided inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Lake Windermere 5 mins walk. Note: The property is in an elevated location. Note: Check-in time 4pm. Note: Max 4 adults & 1 child

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere both provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants, plus boat trips are available from Bowness to Ambleside, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his series of iconic guidebooks, is on the edge of the town, plus Grizedale Forest Park is nearby and there are many National Trust properties in the area.
