River View Cottage is situated on a working farm, two miles from Tebay and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. The accommodation is all on the ground floor and comprises one king-size double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is ample off road parking and an enclosed patio with furniture. The cottage is next to a river and fishing can be arranged with the owner by prior arrangement. River View Cottage is a lovely base to explore all that this delightful area has to offer. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Enclosed patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: WiFi can be intermittent. Note: Due to river next to property, children must be supervised at all times. Note: Property is close to a railway and motorway, some associated noise may be experienced. Note: Fishing available on river at an additional cost by prior arrangement, please bring own equipment.Note: If you are really lucky you can see otters from the lounge window.

The charming old village of Tebay sits near the eastern fringe of the Lake District National Park. The village itself winds its way along the edge of the main thoroughfare and the traditionally whitewashed Cross Keys Inn has been there for 500 years or more. Along with its better-known neighbours of Kendal, Sedbergh and Appleby-in-Westmorland, the area is surrounded by lovely rolling countryside and beautiful scenery.
