Reviews
"Llwyn Ceris is a very comfortable, well equipped holiday home. We stayed with friends (another couple) our two year old and our 2 dogs (by prior arrangement!) The house is very homely, spacious and well equipped, the large garden would be great for spending time in had the weather been better but the large sofa and open fire were just as enjoyable! Mark the owner was very organised, his directions to the house were good and he had everything organised to allow us to enjoy our stay, even suggesting pubs and cafes we could visit on our sightseeing trip. We would recommend this property to any type of traveller-couples, families and dog owners...."
"We wanted a nice relaxing week & we got just what we wanted. A lovely cosy cottage with everything we could have wanted. Our 3 month old puppy really loved the beaches as we all did. A great week was had by all."
"We arrived on a wet and windy night to an open log fire which was as warm at the welcome from the hosts. A lovely designed cottage where nothing has been overlooked. It felt like we were staying in a friend's house rather than a holiday let. For a great place to stay while exploring the lovely island of Anglesay I couldn't recommend this place any more. "
"Booked the cottage for a family break and couldn't have asked for a better place. A lovely cottage set in a quiet little town that had all the amenities you could ask for. A big plus for us was being able to take our dog and he loved the big back garden to run around in. Local beaches are a short drive away, there are a few local pubs fir lunches and good local ales and the cottage itself is lovely. A real coal/log fire a great dining room and fully fitted kitchen. 3 great bedrooms and lovely bathroom. Have a look in the information pack for things to do but also the guest feedback book has places that previous guests have visited. It was really easy to book and contact with the owner before and after our stay was really good. All in all we will be booking again and can't wait to return."
"The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable. It was so well equipped, we felt as if we were in someone's home, not a rental property. It's perfectly situated for some beautiful coastal walks and is definitely a place we will visit again. Thank you to Mark for the thoughtful touches like the welcoming chocolates and the candles and tea lights. We also loved all the artwork and colour throughout this characterful property."
"We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend, and wish we had stayed for longer, as we didn't get to make the most of this beautiful cottage! The communication with Mark was excellent, and the cottage was fantastic! We took our 18 month old daughter, and the cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed for a little one, which made things so much easier! We had a fantastic trip, and will definitely look to return in the future, would definitely recommend to friends and family! "
"Great cottage. Very clean. Perfect base for our holiday. Comfortable beds. Plenty of sheets blankets etc"
"Lovely little cottage with all the amenities you could need. Perfect base to explore the island of Anglesey"
"The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and provides everything you need for a great stay. An excellent location for visiting the Island's amenities."
"Lovely well equipped cottage with great outdoor space. We would certainly not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Anglesey."
"Great place to stay all the comforts of home and more. Would strongly recommend to all. Will be recommending to all my friends and family. Many thanks to Mark cheers pal All the very best"
"This cottage is well furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing break. The sky multi room and wifi were appreciated by our two teenage children. There are lovely touches such as candles and logs for the real fire. The property is clean and the beds are comfy. The owner Mark is friendly and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble and a phone call away."
"We are a family of five and were looking for a base to explore Anglesey and North Wales. Llwin Ceris was previously used as a bakery and has been converted and tastefully decorated by owner Mark. He got in touch as soon as we made the booking to ensure that we could contact him in case of any queries or concerns. Closer to the time of booking, he sent very useful information about finding the cottage. It is located in Amlwch and very easy to find, with free parking and easy access. The cottage was well furnished and comfortably accommodated our family with our three boys aged 14, 10 and 6. Free wifi, sky multiroom and a dining area which doubled as a second reception area with sofa and tv meant that we were able to watch/do different things if we wanted to. There was an open fire which was lovely as the evenings were unusually cold for April. The bedrooms and bathroom were great, with adequate storage space and comfortable beds. The bathroom has a power shower. The kitchen had everything we needed and the garden had ample room for the kids to play in. The coast and Parys Mountain were very close by and we managed day trips to Caernarfon and Plas Newydd. We had a lovely weekend. The little touches Mark had added made us feel like he was a kind and considerate host. It was very easy to contact him and he tried to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend Llwin Ceris."
"Great modern cottage with an enclosed garden. Within walking distance to the local takeaways and Lastra Farm restaurant. Cosy living room and spacious bedrooms. Really quick correspondence with the owner. Would recommend Red Wharf Bay just 10 mins away. Hope to return soon."
"The cottage is a lovely spacious yet cosy cottage, Had a very nice short stay Mark the owner was very helpful the instructions left and the directions were great got there with ease. The cottage consists of two good sized double bedrooms with comfortable large bedrooms and another single room, great spot to travel from."
"The cottage is absolutely lovely. The place is beautifully refurbished and dressed in the style of a boutique hotel. The bedrooms are amazing, really amazing. I have stayed in lots of places but none were as spotlessly clean as this cottage. It's immaculate. We were met by the owner who was really nice and helpful. The welcome was warm and he was offered to make himself available should we need anything, which we didnt. I would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone. Its a good location and great value for money. 10 out of 10 to the owner."
"We've had a fantastic last minute break and were accommodated at short notice with impressive efficiency and charm. We've loved staying in this wonderfully relaxing house and were touched by the many welcoming and considerate touches. Brilliant wifi for teenagers too. Only regret that we couldn't stay longer."
"Very nice house in a beautiful location. Owner very communicative and helpful. Would definatly recommend"
"Llwyn Ceris is great place to stay, very welcoming with lovely bedrooms and super-comfortable beds . The sitting room also had a big comfy sofa perfect for relaxing after days out. There's lots to do on Anglesey and Snowdonia is close too. The kitchen also had everything we needed. There were also lots of lovely finishing touches, candles, lights and a real fire. Mark was very quick to respond to any questions we had. So thanks Mark we enjoyed our stay "
