Reviews
"Absolutely fantastic. We walked in to a beautiful cottage to find it immaculate and all laid out with beautiful Xmas dining Plates and the whole cottage decorated so tastefully. My 2 brothers (1 visiting from Australia) and their families were equally impressed with all agreeing with my wifes sentiments of "we wish this was ours". Kate was brilliant in her communications and made sure everything was perfect for us. The roaring fire place was the icing on the cake with the alternative of a wood burner in the kitchen. As far as setting Ebberton is ideal. Just a few miles from Thornton Le Dale and Pickering to the West and Scarborough to the East. A lovely 25 miles drive through Dalby forest and Heartbeat Country takes you to Whitby (Magpie Fish and Chips recommended) which can then be followed by the coastal drive to Scarborough to make a fantastic day out. For a lovely end of day drink the Grapes pub in Ebberston is an old character pub within easy walking distance and food is served here as well. We have to admit having booked this for a meal we changed our mind and decided to utilise the facilities of the cottage which due to the beauty and comfort of it was a great desicion as we were sadly only there for 2 nights. Thanks to Kate for letting us have use of her fantastic property and we will definitely be returning"
"We were looking for a location for three families in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Tillers Cottage is the perfect holiday location, close to Scarborough and Pickering, we walked in and it was like entering into your dream home. Beautifully kept, in immaculate condition, every room from the dining table in the kitchen laid, to all the pristine rooms, the comments from all the family were, we want to live in a home like this. Kate, the owner was engaging and responsive, making it easy to book and adding to the pleasure of the stay. This really is the most stunning Cottage we have stayed in and recommend it for anyone wanting a dream home stay in the heart of Yorkshire. "
"Such a stunning cottage in a picture perfect location. Beautifully decorated and in a modern yet homely fashion. The quality and cleanliness was superb. There's all the amenities you need & it's pet friendly. You don't often get everyone walk in and want to live there and not leave. We choose this location for the NYM railway in Pickering. We also visited the Dalby forest and Scarborough. There's a very good pub in walking distance. Highly recommend."
