This village is on the banks of the River Nith, near the southern coast of Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. Glencaple benefits from a pub/restaurant, a Post Office/shop and a tearoom also with a shop. Dumfries is five miles north, a market town with charming architecture and a number of different amenities. Outdoor lovers have the Galloway Forest Park.
