Note: Due to balcony off first floor double bedroom and unfenced lake next to property, children need to be supervised at all times.

Thorpe-on-the-Hill is a great location from which to explore the many attractions that both Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire have to offer. Nearby is the 300-acre Whisby Nature Reserve with views over the lake. Spend a day visiting Lincoln, home to one of the finest medieval cathedrals in Europe, or shop till you drop. Other local attractions include Doddington Hall with its lovely gardens, Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Transport Museum, Woodside Falconry & Conservation Centre, or further afield visit the coastal town of Skegness.

"We enjoyed a Friday to Sunday stay at the purple piranha....the accommodation is beautiful, well equipped, modern and clean. The hosts are extremely accommodating, for us Sam arranged a table at a local restaurant and left a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Six adults comfortably enjoyed the facilities. Hot tub is lovely!! Would definitely recommend and return!! Thx x"
