The attractive village of Ingleton is nestled beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous 'Three Peaks' on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, the winding streets of this pretty village all converge on a central market place. A mile outside of Ingleton and down the Hawes road are the well known White Scar Caves. Open to the public, these caves display a huge number of caverns full of stalactites and stalagmites, with one cave home to a huge underground lake. The superb 'Falls Walk' offers an interesting circuit which takes in some of the impressive cascading waterfalls of the area whilst the proximity to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake distract make this an excellent place for walkers.

"Myself and two other friends stayed here in November 2019. We were mountain biking in the area and this is an excellent location. Communication with the owner, Katie, was excellent and she gave us lots of good advice. There is off road parking which is plenty big enough for my friends VW Transporter. The cottage is well equipped and was nice and warm when we arrived on an icy Friday evening. All the bedrooms are quite spacious but one is obviously a kids room and has a slightly smaller bed. Since I booked the cottage I bagged the best room on the 2nd of 3 floors. The windows have wooden shutters which is very in keeping with the age and style of the property and it helps keep the house warm. The windows are the old style wooden frames so you can feel a draft if they are not closed. The cottage has a balcony overlooking the river which must be lovely in summer to take tea outside, but it was far too cold to use it on our weekend. The kitchen lounge is open plan which is great if you are cooking and socialising. As for Ingleton I can heartily recommend the Post Office bar which has a great atmosphere and some interesting beers. As for food the Marton Arms has posh pub grub and is a nice walk out of the village for a change but take torches as the road has no lights. A great 'home-from-home'."

"Was slightly concerned that there were no TripAdvisor reviews & therefore wanted to put other minds at rest if thinking about booking. The location & property is fantastic. So close to everything you need including pubs, shops and the Waterfall trail. The accommodation itself suited 4 adults extremely well. Cosy, homely and contemporary feeling meant just spending time here was a pleasure and pure relaxation. Beds really comfy too! Would highly recommend & would definitely like to make a return visit. Thanks all "
