Amroth is a coastal village in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is the southern start of the award-winning Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The village has a selection of pubs serving good food, cafes and shops close to the beach which offers safe swimming. The beautiful sandy beach stretches the whole length of the village and at extreme low tide you can still see the petrified forest, destroyed when sea levels rose 7000 years ago.

"We stayed at Canina in June this year. There was five adults plus two dogs staying in the property and it was plenty big enough for all of us, there was plenty of room to have just some me time when necessary. All the bedrooms are a good size as is the lounge and kitchen. The frontage outside is ideal for anyone with dogs as it is secure, and is ideal to sit and read and get some sun. Its location is great for visits to the local beaches at Tenby, Amroth and Saunderfoot and the like. We were a bit apprehensive regarding the beaches as we had read that they where not particularly dog friendly, but we needn't have worried as they are ideal if you have dogs, part of the beaches are dog friendly part not, so no problem. This part of Wales gets our vote, as does Canina, Ruth the owner was very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us, thank you. Easily recommend it."

"The owner was out a lot but when she was in she was so hard of hearing she didn't answer the door. When we finally got hold of the owner we informed her there was fleas. Later that day she gave us a bottle of flea spray she had "lent" off a friend this only did one room and obviously didn't get rid of the fleas. And we was shocked she expected us to do it ourselfs when we are on holiday. We then caught her leaving early Thursday morning (my man had to run out in her pjs before the owner was out all day again). It was only when she was told we was going to leave early as we was fed up of the fleas that she offered to go to the vets and get stuff to do the entire house. Which she did and did it threw the day but we had to be out by 10 that Saturday so spent the entire holiday with the fleas. My son was only 8 months old and was constantly being bitten it ruined my holiday everyone was upset and fed up. I contacted the company we booked threw and got ignored. The baby's cot mattress realy needs throwing out it's so old the springs stick out and my baby wouldn't sleep in it. This ment he had to sleep in the bed so my partner had to sleep in a different room and my older 2 children and niece all had to share 2 single beds. All they did was argue and argue about topping and tailing. The holiday was a nightmare. It got quite cold at times especially in the night but you had to ask the owner for the heating on which was impossible as she was either out or couldn't hear the door. Not only that you don't want to be knocking her door in the middle of the night when it gets cold"
