The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere and all this against a backdrop of wild and rugged countryside.
Reviews
"We are just back from a fabulous week at 29 Main Street. Right in the centre of Haworth, the location is perfect, yet peaceful - far more so than I would have imagined as Main Street is the hub of Haworth. Excellent range of pubs and restaurants, plus a range of lovely, craft and bookshops plus, of course, the fascinating Bronte connection. A mere few minutes away from Penistone Hilll and the majestic, bleak moorland that screams Wuthering Heights. We didn't want to leave and we will certainly be back."
