Settled in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria is the lovely small town of Kirkby Lonsdale, enjoying a fabulous position for outdoor pursuits between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Part of the unspoilt gem that is the Lune Valley, this area has provided inspiration for artists and writers for centuries, including Wordsworth and Turner. Within the town, find a host of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy during your self-catered stay.
