Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: There is an open pond in the neighbouring property, children should be supervised.

"East Farm Cottage is in the lovely village of Humshaugh. Really close to Hadrian's Wall and loads of tourist attractions nearby. Chesters, Vindolanda & Housestead are well worth a visit. We had a great day out at Cragside too. Only 40 mins away. The roads are great around here for cyclists. So glad we brought bikes with us! We ate at The Crown (2 mins walk) a couple of times, which was really good. Worth booking though - even mid-week it's busy. The cottage is really well-equipped. Lovely soft towels and crisp, cotton linen on two comfortable double beds. The kitchen has everything you could want. Plenty of pans and utensils for cooking and lots of cutlery (which is usually lacking in a holiday let). Especially nice were the extra touches - a bottle of wine & biscuits on arrival. Plus teabags, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. An excellent place to stay and we will definitely be back!"
