Outside is a raised decked terrace which can be accessed externally and from the double bedroom. There is also off road parking for three cars. The village of Gobowen lies just to the north of Oswestry and with three churches, a number of shops and pubs and a golf course on the outskirts, this is a lovely base with fantastic rail links to Chester and Shrewsbury. The local area is ideal for scenic walks and bike rides, especially along the Shropshire Union Canal, and a variety of exciting watersports are available on the nearby River Dee at Llangollen. Three miles away is old Oswestry, the site of a spectacular Iron Age Hill Fort, while today the town offers many historic buildings and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.
