This wonderful detached cottage situated in the hamlet of Brightley, a couple of miles from Okehampton and sleeps three people in two bedrooms. Two ground floor bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x single. Bathroom with roll-top bath, separate shower, basin and WC. First floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
Brightley Mill Barn is a superb detached upside down cottage situated in the hamlet of Brightley two miles from the market town of Okehampton. This cottage sleeps three people in two ground floor bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one single, together with a ground floor bathroom with roll-top bath. The cottage also has a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside the property there's off road parking for six cars. Brightley Mill Barn is an excellent base for a couple or small family. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Shared off road parking for 6 cars. Secure bike storage. Front paved area and patio garden with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 miles. Note: Limited headroom in single bedroom. Note: Stairs open direct into open plan living area. Note: Children over 12 years only. Please note: booking must start and end on any day between a Friday to Friday. Owner requires 7 days notice of booking

Okehampton is a busy market town on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park and near the highest and most dramatic areas of the moor, where Yes Tor rises to a height above 2000 feet. Okehampton has a prominent medieval castle overlooking a wooded river valley, the Museum of Dartmoor Life (where Tourist Information can be found) and Okehampton train station, which has been restored to its 1950s glory running trains along a scenic route to Meldon the highest station in southern England.
