East Runton is located near the North Sea in Norfolk; once a traditional fishing village. The village holds its own shops, pubs, fish and chip shop and a lovely sandy beach. Nearby East Runton is the coastal town of Cromer with a Victorian pier offering visitors the chance to see theatre shows and visit the museum. This area of North Norfolk has many places worth visiting, including local golf courses at West Runton, Cromer and Sheringham, and the National Trust Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall.

"Excellent location close to Cromer with beautiful views overlooking the sea. The sunrise was stunning also, worth an early start for. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The linen, towels and bedding were excellent quality and the beds very comfortable. The accommodation was well equipped and the welcome pack much appreciated. The only criticism , and a very minor one, would be for a shower in the bathroom. We would not hesitate to stay at Oak Lodge again and indeed, hope to soon. Thank you for a very comfortable stay."
