There is also access to a camping area with free use of tennis court, fishing pond and children's playground. Alford is a market town in Lincolnshire. It is set at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, and is about 11 miles north-west of the coastal resort of Skegness. There is a wide range of shops including a pharmacy, grocers and two butchers. Alford has become an important centre for arts and crafts with many markets held throughout the year. The main market is held in the Market Place every Tuesday with the craft market being held every August bank holiday.
