Reviews
"This property is a great choice. Perched on the hillside overlooking Llandudno town centre, the Great Orme behind you and views over both bays. The property itself is arranged over three floors. Superb kitchen diner and sitting room on the ground floor, two large double bedrooms and a spacious bunk bedded room on the first floor with family bathroom. The top floor has an extremely large suite with super king size bed an area for relaxing a dressing area and it's own en-suite. Two sets of patio doors open on to a Juliet balcony giving the best views from the house. It has been tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wi-Fi and sky tv included!I We were lucky enough to have unknowingly planned Our trip to coincide with the Victorian Extravaganza weekend which was a bonus. Lots of fairground rides, shows and stalls. Very busy and great fun. The steam engines were beautiful. Our stay was planned to complete the Velocity zip wire at Bethesda which was a 35 minute drive away. We had young children with us so our other activities were planned around them. We specially enjoyed the snow tubing and the tobogan run at the Llandudno ski centre. We ate out at The kings Head by the Great Orme tramway, the Ham Bone (owned and run by our hosts), Home Cookin', and one other, (the name escapes me). All very good. I can highly recommend Llandudno as a destination and Bayside House as a place to stay, although the house is not for those who are not good on their feet. The walk up to the house is quiet steep."
"This House has it all, the rooms, the facilities, the views, the cleanliness, what more can you ask for? Within easy reach of Llandudno town, there is even a bus service, should you require it, it practically sits on the Orm and you are often awoken by the sound of Goats, truly brilliant. Ideal for families and groups alike our friends were equally impressed and the kids (not the Goat type) loved it too. We self catered, eat out did everything we wanted to and returned to the house where we thoroughly relaxed. One word of caution, the hill leading to the property may cause thouse with mobility issues a problem if they choose not to use their car or public transport, we found a way of breaking the journey by having a well deserved drink in the Kings Head by the Tram on our way back to the house (well that's our excuse and were sticking to it!). The owner Martin was on hand at all time, though never over bearing- just really helpful. Loads to see and do during the week, all of the places we ate and drank at provided good food. The only downside I would say (and this is in terms of Llandudno, not the house) was that the cost of food etc was higher than we would expect to pay at home (though not London prices) and the kids spent a fortune on the Amusements, so raid your piggy banks for 2p's!"
"Stayed at Bayside House in February and we enjoyed the house so much we returned in March! Again our host Martin was brilliant. Accommodating us for just a 3 night stay. You only have to call Martin and he is there sorting or advising. Nothing is too much trouble. We love this house for its great location. It is an easy walk down to the centre of town and we used the shortcut up the side of the Empire Hotel for the steep walk back. Not a problem for most people. Beautiful side views from upstairs to the promenade. I mentioned in my first review how beautiful the house is decorated with high quality fixtures and fittings. This makes the house so comfortable and relaxing. The house is big with plenty of space for a big family but it remains cosy and warm. You will not be disappointed with a stay at this house and we can't wait to visit again."
"This house has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard and is a brilliant place for get togethers with friends or family! Highly recommended!"
