Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire can be purchased from near by shop in Patterdale. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking. Outdoor furniture. Four well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, and pub 7 mins walk. Note: Several steps inside the cottage between rooms.

Glenridding is popular with mountain walkers as there are seemingly endless opportunities nearby, above the village sits the Greenside Mine, this 18th century lead mine is the reason for the maintaining of the village's economy. There is much to do close by, with the twin towns of Bowness and Windermere just over 12 miles away.
