"Our little family (toddlers and dog included) enjoyed a wonderful week in very early March at Blacksmiths Cottage - a week which began with late Winter snow and warmed up to some lovely Spring sunshine! We kept cosy with the log burner, soft blankets and incredibly comfy beds, and of course with the garden hot tub - a treat at any time of year! Furnished and equipped to high standards (including some lovely little extras plus children's toys/essentials) the cottage is brilliantly situated for access to the wonderful beaches and countryside of the Pembrokeshire Coast. Highlights for us were the closest, beautiful beach of Newgale; Whitesands Bay at St. David's; the amazing 'Blue Lagoon' at Abereiddy Beach; Marloes & St. Brides and lovely Little Haven. Tenby is also only a short drive away and always worth a day trip! With so many wonderful beaches, country walks, lovely pubs and villages it's an area to return to over again, and Blacksmiths is the perfect base from which to explore."

"Over the years we have stayed in many holiday properties both in the U.K. and abroad and this one is right up the with the best we have experienced. Although our children have flown the nest now, we think the years we holidayed as a family qualify us to say that this is suitable for couples and families alike. We stayed for a weekend just before Christmas in 2017 and we had a fabulous time. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into ensuring that a stay here will be perfect, and it was. Their attention to every detail makes the property so homely and comfortable. The location is wonderful, if peace and quiet is what you are looking for then this is the cottage for you. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area, which is so beautiful even in the winter. Knowing we had a warm and cosy home from home to return to made it even better. We cannot wait to go back and experience the hot tub. A glass of fizz, under an inky black, star-studded sky with hooting owls...what could be better?"

"We stayed at this fantastic cottage for a week in June of this year and we had a really great time! The cottage itself is stunning and all the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely well presented. The open plan of the lounge and the kitchen is very nice and the kitchen is very well equipped. The large garden is also very nice and the hot tub was great! This is a beautiful area and it is very quiet at the cottage - perfect place to chill and relax and enjoy proper darkness at night. You will need your car but we got out and about a lot and went all along the stunning coast from Whitesands Bay in the North down through Broad Haven and Little Haven and further South to Marloes, Stackpole and Tenby. There are stunning beaches everywhere along the coasts and lots of National Trust places too so don't forget your cards! We found lots of lovely pubs and restaurants on our travels and nearly all were dog friendly, as are the majority of the beaches. We'd never been to this area before and it really does have some stunning and dramatic beaches and miles of walking if that's your thing. Already hoping to go back again next year!"

"We had a wonderful week at Blacksmiths cottage with our 1 year old. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated and had lots of lovely small touches like baby equipment, games and garden equipment which came in handy and made our stay easier. Having a mobile 1 year old meant we had to move lots of nice decorative bit outs the way and was always on watch when she roamed. I think less decoration would be more practical if you have children and dogs. I agree that the garden needs some attention to make using the hot tub more enjoyable but it was nice nether the less to relax in after a day exploring. On the point about the TV just log in to your Netflix and your good to go! The cottage is in a great location to explore Pembrokeshire and we had some fab days. If only you could guarantee the weather we had in June, all year! Close to a large supermarket and the fish and chips from the local "service station" were surprisingly good. All in all a great week in a great place. Booked for next year! Can't wait to relax and see more of Pembrokeshire from this wonderful cottage."
