Additional parking also available behind the property on a first come first served basis. Enclosed rear patio. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Loftus lies 14 miles north of Whitby on the east coast of Yorkshire. It was a mining village, it has terraced houses, old stone cottages and grand stone dwellings. The main street hosts shops, eateries, pubs, banks and a town hall. Lying behind the main street is a leisure centre with a swimming pool. Loftus is placed well for discovering Runswick Bay and Staithes, the latter being a popular choice for artists. Four miles to the north is Saltburn with its golf club and long pier stretching over the wide sands. The stunning North Yorkshire Moors countryside is on the doorstep and the Jurassic fossil coast lies to the south.

"Arriving at the apartment , it was spotlessly Clean , just right for a base to get around the area of Saltburn on Sea. And I could take my dog, there was a courtyard , so we could let him outside. Unfortunately the lower part of Loftus has a lot of shops shut down , the upper area where the apartment is located is ok . The parking area is shared by people visiting the Co Op, but we always got parked . You cannot hear or see the Co Op after you enter the property area . Very secure ,2 entry codes to use . "
